This sterile, non-adherent dressing is constructed from knitted, high-porosity cellulose acetate impregnated with U.S.P. white petrolatum in an emulsion blend. It is designed to allow exudate flow without adhering to granulating tissue, thereby minimizing pain and trauma during dressing changes. The dressing is highly conformable and suitable for lightly draining wounds such as minor burns, lacerations, abrasions, suture lines, episiotomy incisions, ulcers, and similar wound types. It is intended for direct application on the wound beneath an absorbent secondary dressing and is provided in various sizes to accommodate different wound areas. The product is latex-free to reduce the risk of allergic reactions and is individually packaged to maintain sterility.
